DUDLEY PARK AQUATIC CENTRE UPDATE
Reasonable spring weather to date has seen progress at the Dudley Park Aquatic Centre site continue with pleasing results. Development has occurred on many fronts with some advances on site being more visible than others, but all being vital to the overall completion of the exciting new facility.
Construction progress over the months of September and October has seen the completion of almost all concrete works, which are considerable on a project such as this. Block work on the changing room and administration block was also started and is now well underway. Other exciting areas of advancement include tiling in the main pool and installation of the pools plant and filtration systems.
Work in November will focus on continuing the roof, block work and carpentry of the administration and changing room areas, further plant room work, tiling in the learners, leisure and spa pools, and installation of glazing to the pool hall.
Below are two of the latest images taken on site on the 30th October 2009.
